Up and running in minutes

No hardware. No training. No complicated setup.

1

Create your account

Sign up with your email and password. You'll be asked for your name and your office or business name.

Once you create your account, TurnPass automatically sets up your organization, creates default service categories (New Policy, Claim, Renewal, Question, Other), and generates your unique check-in URL — all instantly.

Your check-in link: turnpass.app/checkin/your-office-name
2

Invite your team

From the dashboard, go to the Settings tab and add each employee by name, email, and password. They can sign in immediately — no email confirmation needed.

After adding an employee, you'll see a shareable one-time login link you can send them via text, Slack, or email.

3

Set up your check-in station

You have a few options for how clients access your check-in form:

📱

Tablet at the desk

Open your check-in link on a tablet or iPad and leave it at the front desk. Clients tap their way in.

🖨️

QR code on a sign

Print a QR code linking to your check-in URL. Clients scan it with their phone — no touchscreen required.

🌐

Link on your website

Add a “Check In” button to your website that links to your TurnPass URL.

4

Clients check themselves in

Clients visit your check-in link, enter their name, an optional phone number, and select the reason for their visit. They're added to the queue instantly.

After checking in, they see their position in the queue and an estimated wait time. No app download, no login, no account needed.

5

Your team works the queue

The dashboard shows every waiting and in-progress client in real time. When an employee is ready, they click Claim to take ownership of the next client, and Done when the visit is complete.

All of this is tracked — TurnPass records who served whom, how long they waited, and how long the service took. You'll see all of it in the Performance tab.

Common questions

Do clients need to download an app?

No. The check-in form is a regular website. Clients just open the link on any browser.

What happens if a client leaves without being served?

Employees can mark a client as complete even if they left. Unclaimed clients stay in the queue until manually removed.

Can I customize the service categories?

Yes. From your dashboard Settings tab, go to Services and add or remove categories at any time.

Is there a limit on how many clients can check in?

No limits on client check-ins on any plan.

Can multiple employees use the dashboard at the same time?

Yes. Everyone sees the same live queue simultaneously. Claiming a client locks it to that employee so two people don't serve the same person.
